SALT LAKE CITY-A man who has a lengthy criminal history was arrested early Wednesday after police say he was caught looking in a young girl’s window.

59-year-old James Michael McCrimmon, whose address, per court records, is a South Salt Lake shelter, was arrested at 1:00 am for voyeurism against a juvenile, lewdness involving a child, lewdness, trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief.

Salt Lake City police were summoned to a home in the Fairpark neighborhood on a report of a possible burglar.

Officers arrived and discovered McCrimmon inside a gated front yard per a police booking affidavit.

McCrimmon has an extensive criminal history in Utah over the past 10 years, per court records.
