(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox has chosen the next Great Salt Lake Commissioner. The position has become increasingly important, as it will carry out policies designed to save the lake. Cox has selected Hannah Freeze to be the next commissioner. Freeze recently served as the deputy commissioner and will take over immediately. She also previously oversaw the state’s agriculture water optimization program for Utah’s Department of Agriculture and Food.
