WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Sen. John Curtis of Utah wants the Senate Judiciary Committee to investigate and subpoena Donald Trump Jr. after his wedding party was partially bankrolled by a Russian oligarch. The committee’s top Democrat supports Curtis’ request. Curtis wrote yesterday, it needs to be investigated whether Trump Jr. used his proximity to the presidency for financial benefit. Curtis wants a similar investigation into Hunter Biden, ex-President Joe Biden’s son. Trump says the Russian oligarch’s money will be paid back.
