SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday morning, Elder Ronald A. Rasband of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Quorum of Twelve Apostles shared a #HearHim video concerning how to obtain revelation from the Lord.

Elder Rasband shared his experiences concerning his disappointment that he was not called to a mission in Germany as his father and older brother had been. He had instead been called to the Eastern States Mission (New York City) and he confirmed he was “down and disappointed.”

Meanwhile, he then shared verses from Doctrine and Covenants 100 and changed his attitude.

Subsequently, Elder Rasband served as the president of the New York New York North Mission.
