SALT LAKE CITY-Per a Tuesday announcement, the Days of 47 Rodeo and the 24th of July parade in downtown Salt Lake City have been postponed.

Days of 47 Executive Greg James also said the Cowboy Games and all other events associated with the Days of 47  celebration have been postponed until 2021.

These include the Pioneers of Progress Dinner, the sunrise service, the royalty pageant and pops concert.

The parade had been scheduled for Pioneer Day, July 24, at 9:00 am while the Cowboy Games & Rodeo were scheduled from July 21-25.

Days of 47 president Lane Summerhays said this decision was not taken lightly and was only made after consideration and input from applicable sources per a Tuesday press release.
