Conservation Activists Gather At State Capitol

(Salt Lake City, UT) — More than a-thousand conservation activists gathered at the State Capitol in Salt Lake City on Saturday. The activists were there to advocate for the conservation of the Great Salt Lake, which has been dealing with issues from pollution and decreased water levels in recent years. People at the rally held up signs that read “Just Add Water” and “Feeling Salty About Inaction on Great Salt Lake”. They said the Utah legislature has taken important steps to protect the lake, but want bolder action taken this year.
