Charlie Kirk’s Accused Killer Wants Cameras Banned From Court

(Provo, UT) — The man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk wants cameras kept out of a Provo courtroom. Tyler Robinson is asking a judge to ban cameras from closing arguments in his preliminary hearing Tuesday, arguing coverage could taint a future jury pool and jeopardize his right to a fair trial. Attorneys representing the media say similar requests have already been rejected and court proceedings are public. Robinson is accused of shooting and killing Kirk last September during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.
