(Provo, UT) — Brigham Young University’s new medical school has received preliminary accreditation. BYU announced yesterday that applications will open within the next several weeks, with the first class of up to 60 students starting in July 2027. The school will initially use the former Provo High School building while a permanent 275-thousand-square-foot facility is built at University Avenue and Cougar Boulevard. Construction on the new building is scheduled to begin next year.
