Brigham Young University Plans In-Person Return For Fall Semester 2020

PROVO, Utah-Per a statement from Brigham Young University, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-owned institution plans to have students return to campus for instruction for the upcoming fall semester 2020.

The university confirms students and campus employees will be required to wear face masks while in classrooms or in other campus buildings.

Face masks are also required for employees interacting with campus guests per information from the university.

After Thanksgiving break in November, all classes and exams will occur remotely, the university confirmed.

Students who go home for Thanksgiving are encouraged to stay there throughout the remainder of 2020 to stop the spread of COVID-19.
