(Heber City, UT) — A brown bear cub is safe after it was found alone near the Heber City Airport. The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office says the cub was discovered today, appearing “lost and confused.” They were unable to locate its mother, so they worked with animal control and the Utah Department of Wildlife Resources to capture the bear. It wasn’t hurt, and officials are evaluating their next steps.
