SALT LAKE CITY-Tristin English homered and the Reno Aces dismantled Salt Lake 5-1 Tuesday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play. Slade Cecconi posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Jordyn Adams drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees fell to 6-10, having lost their fourth straight game. Reno improved to 7-8 in victory on the young season.
The Bees and Aces return to action Wednesday at 12:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
