SALT LAKE CITY-Andrés Chaparro homered and the Reno Aces downed Salt Lake 6-4 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Austin Pope posted one strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Hunter Dozier drove in two runs in defeat for the Bees.
Reno improved to 8-8 on the season while the Bees, losers of five straight, fell to 6-11.
The Bees and Aces return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
