UWCNF Personnel Successfully Complete Burn Saturday

UINTA-WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST, Utah-Saturday, personnel from the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest successfully completed a burn of 315 slash piles. This consisted of approximately six acres along Spring Canyon Road on the Heber-Kamas Ranger District.

These acres were part of an 174-acre area.

Because of present weather conditions, fire personnel will not burn slash piles Sunday.

However, weather-permitting, the plan is to resume the burning of slash piles Monday.
