TACOMA, Wash.-Dillon Thomas reached on a fielder’s choice in the 10th Inning, resulting in the winning score from Jantzen Witte as the Tacoma Rainiers bested Salt Lake 3-2 Friday at Cheney Stadium in Triple A-West play.

Thomas also homered and Donovan Walton added an RBI single for the Rainiers, who improved to 77-51 with the win.

Nick Duron earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers, as he improved to 2-1 on the season.

Brendon Davis homered and Mitch Walding singled in the loss for the Bees, dropping them to 54-73.

The Bees and Rainiers meet again Saturday at 6:05 pm at Cheney Stadium.
