SALT LAKE CITY-Brendon Davis and Taylor Ward each homered and the Salt Lake Bees got past the Sacramento River Cats 11-9 Saturday in Triple A-West play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Tyler Danish earned the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 4-3 on the season. Salt Lake improved to 51-71 on the season with the victory.

Mauricio Dubon and Heliot Ramos homered for the River Cats in the loss as they fell to 53-67 on the season.

The Bees and River Cats meet again Sunday at 1:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark as the series ensues.
