RENO, Nev.-Mitch Walding and Preston Palmeiro each homered and the Salt Lake Bees waxed Reno 10-8 Monday at Greater Nevada Field in Triple A-West play.

Jake Buchanan earned the win on the mound as he improved to 2-4 on the season.

Walding’s home run was joined by an RBI single from Matt Thaiss and an RBI double from Brendon Davis in a productive 6-run 1st Inning to commence the game.

The Bees improved to 49-69 with the win.

Drew Ellis homered in the loss for the Aces, who fell to 68-49.

The Bees and Aces meet again Tuesday at 7:35 pm at Greater Nevada Field to conclude the series.
