RENO, Nev.-Jake Gatewood homered twice and Michael Stefanic also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees outgunned Reno 13-10 Thursday at Greater Nevada Field in Triple A-West play.

Felix Pena earned the win on the mound for the Bees, as he improved to 5-4 on the season. Salt Lake improved to 48-66 on the season with the victory.

Stuart Fairchild, Alek Thomas, Drew Ellis and Jose Herrera homered for the Aces in defeat as they fell to 65-48.

The Bees and Aces meet again Friday at Greater Nevada Field for a 7:35 pm opening pitch.
