Westbound Interstate 80 can be accessed from Silver Creek Road.
The purpose of this project, per a UDOT press release, is to preserve the state’s bridge infrastructure by applying cost effective treatments before major rehabilitation becomes necessary.
Heber Valley motorists planning to use this route to go to the Wasatch Front are to expect delays. This flyover is anticipated to reopen September 30.
Other routes to reach the Wasatch Front, such as S.R. 92 and US 189 through Provo Canyon may be preferable to Heber Valley drivers over the course of the next 10 days.
