HEBER CITY, Utah-Adarius Edwards threw three scoring passes and for well over 300 yards as the Wasatch Wasps pounded Pleasant Grove 44-24 Friday in non-region football action at Wright-Tree Stadium.
Edwards’ touchdown passes were to Blake Smith (70 yards), La’Kalama (27 yards) and Kolby Cluff (25 yards).
Quezon Villa had scoring runs of 10 and 3 yards for the Wasps and Ashton Southam made field goals of 35, 36 and 37 yards for Wasatch as the Wasps improved to 3-1 on the season.
Dylan Story threw two scoring passes in defeat for the Vikings.
The Wasps commence Region 9 play Friday by visiting Salem Hills. The Skyhawks fell to 1-3 on the season Friday as they fell to Class 6-A Syracuse 21-3.
