SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday morning, Apple confirmed Utah will be among the first states to bring state ID’s and driver’s licenses to Apple Wallet.
Apple said this allows Utahns to “seamlessly and securely add their driver’s license or state ID to Wallet on their iPhone and Apple Watch.”

Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple reports that as soon as Utah offers this capability, residents can add their driver’s license or state ID to Wallet.
Upon tapping their iPhones or Apple Watches, Utahns can present information to the TSA without taking out their physical driver’s license or handing over their devices.
