Triple A-West

TACOMA, Wash.-Marcus Wilson homered and Donovan Walton and Jantzen White added RBI doubles as the Tacoma Rainiers blanked Salt Lake 3-0 at Cheney Stadium Sunday in Triple A-West play.

Ian McKinney earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers, improving to 4-4 on the season. Tacoma improved to 58-42 with the win.

The Bees slumped to 43-56 with the loss, being shut out for only the second time this season.

Salt Lake and Tacoma meet again Monday at 8:05 pm at Cheney Stadium.

OGDEN, Utah-Jayson Newman homered and the Missoula Paddleheads exploded for six runs in the 8th Inning to surge past Ogden 8-5 in Pioneer League play Sunday at Lindquist Field.

Kevin Gould earned the win on the mound for the Paddleheads as Missoula improved to 57-29.

Dom Abbadessa had 2 RBI in defeat for the Raptors, who fell to 46-40.

The Paddleheads and Raptors meet again Monday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
