HYRUM, Utah-Adarius Edwards threw seven touchdown passes and the Wasatch Wasps decimated Mountain Crest 51-3 Friday in non-region football play.
The 2-0 Wasps lived up to head coach Steve Coburn’s methodology as revealed on Crossing the T’s with Ty&Ty last Wednesday.
Coburn confirmed his desire to share the wealth in the receiving corps while appearing on the program.
Edwards threw two touchdown passes apiece to Joshua Sanders (61 and 33 yards), Jarinn Kalama (20 and 10 yards) and Christopher Cook (50 and 37 yards). For good measure, Edwards also threw a scoring pass to Tavian Edwards (2 yards) on the evening.
Ashton Southam added a 30-yard field goal for the Wasps in the rout.
Sporting a 2-0 record, Wasatch returns to Wright-Tree Stadium Friday to host the Mountain Ridge Sentinels.
Ty & Ty are back on the air Wednesday at 7:00 pm for their Crossing the T’s program on 94.5 The Peak and hebervalleyradio.com.
Ty&Ty will discuss all the latest in Wasatch High School sports and have interviews with Wasatch football coaches and student-athletes.
