SALT LAKE CITY-Braden Bishop homered and doubled as the Sacramento River Cats downed Salt Lake 5-2 Thurday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

John Brebbia earnned the win on the mound for the River Cats, who improved to 38-47 on the season. The Bees fell to 38-47 on the season. The Bees face Sacrameto again Friday at 6:35 pm at Lindquist Field.

OGDEN, Utah-Josh Broughton and Chris Caffrey each homered and the Ogden Raptors downed Billings 8-6 in Pioneer League play Thursday. Dylan Pearced homered in the loss for the Mustangs. The Raptors and Mustangs meet again at Lindquist Park Friday for a 7:00 pm opening pitch.
