SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed in June 2021 they had announced changes to the next (October) General Conference wherein the Saturday session would be discontinued.
This decision, The First Presidency confirmed, was predicated upon changes in technology that make it possible for all members and friends to view each session of General Conference. This includes the women’s and Priesthood sessions.
Through further study and prayer, The First Presidency stated the Saturday session will continue.
All members and friends of the Church are invited to view this session.
It will not have any specific theme or be intended for any particular demographic or leadership group.
