TACOMA, Wash.-Jake Gatewood homered and added an RBI single as the Salt Lake Bees blanked Tacoma 4-0 Sunday at Cheney Stadium in Triple A-West play.

Anthony Bemboom added an RBI sacrifice fly for Salt Lake as the Bees improved to 32-32 on the season.

Brian Johnson earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake, improving to 2-1 on the season.

The Rainiers fell to 33-30 with the loss.

The Bees and Rainiers meet again Monday at 8:30 pm at Cheney Stadium.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Matt Feinstein homered and the Idaho Falls Chukars outlasted Ogden 11-9 Sunday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Mason Alexander earned the win on the mound for the Chukars, who improved to 35-15 on the season.

Nick Michaels homered in defeat for the Raptors, who fell to 30-20.

The Chukars and Raptors meet again at Lindquist Field Monday at 7:00 pm.
