Triple A-West

SALT LAKE CITY-Cody Thomas hit his 13th home run of the season, a 2-run shot in the 10th Inning, to lift the Las Vegas Aviators to a 5-3 win over the Salt Lake Bees Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

Jacob Wilson had an RBI sacrifice fly in the 9th Inning for Las Vegas to pull the Aviators even, at 3-3.

Pete Kozma (single) and Greg Deichmann (sacrifice fly) also had key RBI for Las Vegas, who improved to 23-23 on the season.

Zach Jackson, in his first appearance of the season for the Aviators, earned the win on the mound.

Jake Gatewood homered in the loss for the Bees, as they fell to 20-25.

The Bees and Aviators meet again at Smith’s Ballpark Monday at 6:35 pm.

MISSOULA, Mont.-Cameron Thompson posted 3 RBI and the Missoula Paddleheads bested the Ogden Raptors 10-6 Sunday at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.

Mark Simon earned the win on the mound for the Paddleheads, as they improved to 22-10 on the season.

Frankie Jezioro homered in the loss for the Raptors, as they fell to 22-10.

The Paddleheads and Raptors meet again Monday at 7:05 pm at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.
