Neemias Queta Competes At NBA Combine Monday

CHICAGO-Monday, former Utah State men’s basketball center Neemias Queta competed at the NBA Combine at Wintrust Arena of Chicago.

Queta, a native of Barreiro, Portugal, is the only Mountain West Conference product to participate.

This is Queta’s second appearance at the NBA Combine as he participated in 2018-19 following his freshman season, after which he opted to return to the Aggies’ program.

Queta completed his career at Utah State as a three-time all-Mountain West Conference selection, earning a pair of second-team accolades and a first-time honor last season.

The combine will run through Sunday.

Last season, Queta became only one of 10 players since the 1992-93 season to surpass 95 blocks (97) and post 75 or more assists (77).

Others in this group include former NBA standouts Tim Duncan, Erick Dampier and Joakim Noah.
