EUGENE, Ore.-Friday, former Wasatch High School star distance runner Talem Franco finished 9th in the men’s 1500-meter run at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in the national championship NCAA Track & Field meet.
Franco, who posted a time of 3:40.61, earned second-team All-American honors.

The national champion in this event is Oregon freshman Cole Hocker, who posted a time of 3:35.35.
