EUGENE, Ore.-Friday, BYU senior distance runner Talem Franco, a former Wasatch High School star, finished 9th overall in the men’s 1500-meter run at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
Franco posted a time of 3:40.61 to earn second-team All-American honors.

Winning the national championship in this event was Oregon freshman Cole Hocker who posted a time of 3:35.35 on his home track.
This concludes Franco’s athletic career at BYU.
