SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced changes to upcoming sessions of General Conference.
Effective October 2 and 3, 2021, the Saturday evening session is to be discontinued.
Previously, a Saturday evening session occurred for women in the Church in October and for the brethren in the Priesthood each April.
These sessions have been discontinued.
This change is being made because all sessions of General Conference are not available to anyone who desires to watch or listen.
For the October 2021 General Conference, the proceedings will again be closed to the public.
These proceedings will occur from the Conference Center auditorium in Salt Lake City.
