Triple A-West

TACOMA, Wash.-Preston Palmeiro homered and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up the Tacoma Rainiers 10-5 Thursday at Cheney Stadium in Triple A West play. The Bees snapped a 6-game losing streak to improve to 10-15 on the season. Thomas Pannone improved to 2-2 on the season for the Bees in getting the win on the mound. The Bees and Rainiers next meet Friday at Cheney Stadium for a 8:05 pm opening pitch. Tacoma fell to 13-12 with the loss.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Pavin Parks and Josh Broughton had 2 RBI apiece and the Ogden Raptors routed Grand Junction 10-1 Thursday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field.

Anthony Donatella earned the win on the mound for the Raptors as he posted four strikeouts and only surrendered two hits in five innings of work.

Jose Gutierrez had a solo shot in the loss for the Rockies, dropping them to 5-6 on the season.

The Raptors and Rockies next meet Friday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
