Former Wasatch High School Star Talem Franco Qualifies For NCAA National Championship Track Meet

COLLEGE STATION, Texas-Saturday, former Wasatch High School star track and field athlete, BYU senior Talem Franco, qualified for the NCAA National Championship Track & Field Meet with a strong showing in the men’s 1500-meter run at the NCAA West Regionals at College Station, Texas.

Franco is the West’s No. 10 seed in the 1500 as he posted a time of 3:40.33.

Oregon freshman distance runner, Cole Hocker, is the No. 1 seed in the West in the event, posting a time of 3:38.29.

The NCAA National Championship Meet is June 9-12 at Hayward Field of Eugene, Ore.
