SUMMERLIN, Nev.-Brennon Lund, Matt Thaiss and Jake Gatewood each homered as the Salt Lake Bees drilled Las Vegas 12-0 Tuesday at Las Vegas Ballpark in Triple-A West play.
Scott Schebler added a pair of RBI for the Bees, who improved to 9-9 on the season, having won their night game in their last 13 outings.
Brandon Marsh and Jo Adell also drove in runs for Salt Lake in the rout. Felix Pena improved to 2-1 on the season for the Bees as he earned the win on the mound.
The Aviators fell to 8-10 on the season with the loss and have lost their fourth straight game.
Salt Lake returns home Thursday for a 6-game homestand against the Round Rock Express.
Smith’s Ballpark, which has a capacity of 14,511, will be at full capacity for the first time this season for this homestand.
