SUMMERLIN, Nev.-Francisco Pena hit a key 3-run homer for insurance runs to lift the Las Vegas Aviators to a 16-8 win over Salt Lake Thursday at Las Vegas Ballpark.

The Bees fell to 5-8 in their first road game of the season.

The Aviators improved to 7-6 on the season with the win. The two squads meet again at Summerlin Friday at 8:05 pm MDT.
