SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, University of Utah Health revised visitor guidelines at its hospital and clinics.
With the changes, most patients will be allowed two visitors at a time and they can swap out with other people.
For covid-19 patients, designated visitors will not be allowed to switch out.
For those patients receiving end of life care, six visitors will be permitted each day.
All visitors must be free of covid-19 symptoms and face masks are required inside UofU facilities at all times.
Effective today, our visitor policy has expanded to two visitors in most instances.
U of U Health will regularly review and update this visiting policy as needed, which may include the addition of more restrictive guidelines.
