Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Historical Sites To Begin Reopening in May

SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed it will begin reopening its historical sites as of May 1.

The sites in question will be reopened predicated upon local covid-19 conditions, government guidelines and missionary staffing ability.

The reopening schedule will tentatively proceed as follows.

Carthage Jail

Historic Nauvoo

Kanesville Tabernacle (Iowa)

Mormon Trail Center at Winter Quarters

Brigham Young Winter Home and Office

Hamblin Home
