SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints appointed new directors of Church hosting.

They will represent the Salt Lake City-based faith as they meet with dignitaries throughout the world.

Serving in this capacity are J. Christopher and Erlynn E. Lansing. They assume this role July 1, 2021.

The Lansings presently chair the President’s Leadership Council at Brigham Young University.

They served together previously as mission leaders in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission from 2016-2019.

Prior to this responsibility, Bro. Lansing served as an Area Seventy in Virginia.

The Lansings will replace Elder Kent F. and Marsha G. Richards who are completing their missionary service.
