Provo Temple, Numerous Others, To Open To Phase 2-B April 26, Seven Temples Advance To Phase 3

SALT LAKE CITY-Per a Monday announcement from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, numerous temples worldwide are being advanced to various levels of reopening.

This includes the Provo Temple being advanced to Phase 2-B of reopening April 26. This entails being open for all living ordinances and baptisms for deceased individuals with restrictions. Seven other temples advance to Phase 3 worldwide-effective April 12. Phase 3 consists of being open for all ordinances with restrictions.

The stakes located in Heber City (Heber City Utah, Heber City East and Heber City North Stakes) and Midway (Midway Utah and Midway West Stakes) are assigned to the Provo Temple district. This means that youth in these stakes are eligible to attend the temple. Their youth leaders are required to secure positions at the temple by appointment as demand will be high.
