ST. GEORGE, Utah-Jackson Turley and Luke Orchard each had an RBI as the Desert Hills Thunder blanked Wasatch 2-0 at the Desert Hills Tournament Thursday evening. Kaden Terry amassed 12 strikeouts for the Thunder in taking the win on the mound. The Wasps return to action Friday at 4:30 pm to play East at the Desert Hills Tournament. PROVO, Utah-Josh Jeppson scored twice and the Wasatch Wasps clobbered Timpview 6-1 Thursday in non-region boys soccer action. Gabe Manning, Edgar Garcia, Tayler Dummar and Alan Bautista also scored in victory for the Wasps. Garcia added 3 assists in the win for the Wasps. Lance Taylor scored in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
