SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

489,716 Utahns have been vaccinated for covid-19. This is an increase of 26,996 from Thursday’s report.

349,423 Utahns (71.4 percent) have received one dose.

140,293 Utahns (27.1 percent) have received the recommended two doses.

5,750 Wasatch County residents have been vaccinated. This is an increase of 348 from Thursday’s report. With 36,139 Wasatch County residents per the 2021 Census, 15.9 percent of all Wasatch County residents have been vaccinated.

4,196 Wasatch County residents (72.9 percent) have received one dose.

1,554 Wasatch County residents (27.1 percent) have received the recommended two doses.

For the 17th straight day, Utah set a new state record for recovery percentage (92.02 percent; 330,949-359,641).

7.5 [7.481] percent of covid-19 cases statewide (26,907-359,641) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,634) exceeded new active cases (-1,585) and new net recorded cases (1,060).

There are 304,042 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
