SALEM, Utah-Jaxton Anderson netted 23 points, including five 3-pointers, and the Wasatch Wasps outlasted Salem Hills 58-57 Tuesday in Region 8 boys basketball action.

The Wasps improved to 8-8 on the season and 5-2 in Region 8 despite the absence of Hawk Ballstaedt in the lineup.

Jaden Holley’s 19 points led the Skyhawks in defeat.

HEBER CITY, Utah-Kira Muir led the way with 12 points and the Salem Hills Skyhawks clipped Wasatch 38-32 in Region 8 girls basketball action Tuesday at the Nest. Rachel Noyce amassed 17 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Wasps.
