BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Monday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the Birmingham Alabama Temple would advance to Phase 2 of reopening October 26.
Phase 2 of reopening consists of being open for all living ordinances only with restrictions.
The Birmingham Alabama Temple was dedicated by then-Church president Gordon B. Hinckley September 3, 2000.
This temple serves Latter-day Saints in the following stakes:
Alabama: Birmingham, Dothan, Gadsden, Huntsville, Madison, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa.
Florida: Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola.
