Latter-Day Saint Charities’ Web Site Is Overwhelmed By Traffic

SALT LAKE CITY-Per  a Monday morning report, Latter-Day Saint Charities’ Web site, www.projectprotect.health has been overwhelmed by Utahns willing to help during this time of crisis.

As explained Friday by Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Relief Society General President Jean B. Bingham, this initiative purchases materials to make masks for medical personnel and shows a pattern volunteers can follow on the Web site.

Reports state Project Protect is the Beehive State’s largest volunteer effort since Salt Lake City hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Project Protect is collaborating a multitude of state organizations, including Intermountain Healthcare, University of Utah health and a litany of non-profit organizations.
