SALT LAKE CITY-In comments made Tuesday, President M. Russell Ballard, the acting president of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, expressed his confidence that the “world will triumph” over the coronavirus.

Ballard cited his knowledge of contemporary world history by saying crises comparable to this one have been overcome by people, so this one can be vanquished as well.

Ballard reminded everyone to be engaged in serving others and remaining constant in prayer to Father in Heaven to get through these times.
