SALT LAKE CITY-Per a report from ABC 4 of Salt Lake City’s Brittany Johnson, City Creek Center, in downtown Salt Lake City, is closing to the public.

A press release from the center confirms that a shopper, confirmed to have COVID-19, was in the center March 10.

In hopes of ensuring the safety of customers and employees, the center’s common areas are under thorough cleansing and disinfectant procedures Thursday.

It is anticipated that the center can reopen Friday.

For the time being, City Creek offices and residences will remain open.
