PROVO, Utah-Thursday afternoon, Provo Canyon was placed under avalanche control procedures between Canyon Glenn Park and Vivian Park.

A report from KSL News Radio’s Rikki Meece confirmed this affects both directions of U.S. Highway 189 for roughly a 3-mile stretch.
