Pacific Coast League

SALT LAKE CITY-Jose Rojas homered twice and doubled twice as the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Sacramento 12-5 Tuesday in the first game of a doubleheader at Smith’s Ballpark. Taylor Ward also homered in the win for the Bees. Aramis Garcia homered and added an RBI single in the loss for the Rivercats.

SALT LAKE CITY-Aramis Garcia homered in the top of the 7th Inning to propel the Sacramento Rivercats to an 8-6 win over the Salt Lake Bees, helping Sacramento earn a split of the day-night doubleheader at Smith’s Ballpark. Jared Walsh hit his 20th home run of the season in defeat for the Bees.

Pioneer League

MISSOULA, Mont.-Sauryn Lao homered and added an RBI single as the Ogden Raptors got past Missoula 9-6 Tuesday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in Pioneer League baseball action. Joe Vranesh added a pair of RBI in the win for Ogden as the Raptors improved to 24-6 on the season. Carson Maxwell and Francis Martinez homered in defeat for the Osprey as they fell to 15-15.

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Rhett Aplin had an RBI single and an RBI double as the Idaho Falls Chukars bested Orem 8-6 in Pioneer League baseball action Tuesday at Melaleuca Field. Isaiah Henry, Clay Duncan and Juan Carlos Negret also added RBI for Idaho Falls as the Chukars improved to 16-12. Jeremiah Jackson homered twice in defeat for the Owlz as they fell to 10-20. Anthony Mulrine also had an RBI in the loss for Orem.
