Pacific Coast League

SALT LAKE CITY-Austin Allen homered twice, including the game-winner in the 10th Inning as the El Paso Chihuahuas downed the Salt Lake Bees 7-5 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League baseball action.

Esteban Quiroz also homered for the Chihuahuas, who improved to 53-34 with the win. Jason Vosler, Travis Jankowski and Luis Urias also added RBI in the win for El Paso.

Michael Hermosillo homered and Brennon Lund had 2 RBI in the loss for the Bees, who fell to 39-48. Ty Kelly, Jared Walsh, Wilfredo Tovar and Taylor Ward also added RBI in the loss for Salt Lake.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Ryan Ward homered twice and Tre Todd and Brandon Lewis also went yard as the Ogden Raptors downed Rocky Mountain 6-4 Friday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League baseball action. Michael Wilson homered and Ernesto Martinez had a 2-RBI single in the loss for the Vibes, dropping them to 8-12 on the season. Ogden improved to 15-5 in victory.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Yolki Pena homered and the Grand Junction Rockies pounded Orem 12-2 Friday in Pioneer League baseball action at Suplizio Field. Christian Koss added three RBI in the win for the Rockies, improving them to 10-10. David Clawson and D’Shawn Knowles had RBI in defeat for the Owlz, as they fell to 7-13.
