SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Denzer Guzman and Jose Siri homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed El Paso 11-4 Tuesday in the first game of the series at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Sam Aldegheri posted two strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Nick Solak and Jose Miranda homered in the loss for the Chihuahuas.

Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 17-22 on the season while El Paso slumped to 19-21.

The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square for the second game in the series.
