Bees Come Back To Stun Comets Tuesday

OKLAHOMA CITY-Denzer Guzman and Jeimer Candelario homered as the Salt Lake Bees overcame a 5-1 deficit to defeat the Oklahoma City Comets 9-7 Tuesday in Pacific Coast League play at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Samy Natera Jr. improved to 4-0 on the season for the Bees by netting five strikeouts in two innings of work.

Ryan Fitzgerald and Ryan Ward homered in the loss for the Comets.

Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees, winners of two straight, improved to 15-19 on the season while the Comets slumped to 17-17.

The squads have a swift turnaround Wednesday as opening pitch is at 10:05 am at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
